Baumalight MX230 Excavator Brush Mulcher, 30-Inch Rotor

The Baumalight MX230 puts a 30-inch flail rotor on smaller excavators, with a 38-inch path width and a 500-pound attachment weight. Baumalight lists tracked carriers from 2 to 6 tons and wheeled carriers from 4 to 8 tons.
The rotor uses 22 F2000 flail cutters in swing-style holders. This is a different cutting system from Baumalight's fixed-tooth excavator heads and is well suited to vegetation maintenance, ditch banks, trails, and other work where a compact head and excavator reach are useful. Integrated skid shoes, a relief valve, and a reinforced belt drive protect the attachment, and 6 mm F3000 heavy blades are available as an option.

To build the attachment for a particular excavator, confirm the machine model, operating weight, auxiliary flow and pressure, coupler or pin dimensions, pressure and return hoses, and lift capacity. Baumalight does not provide the carrier-side pressure and return hoses, so hose length and routing need to be planned with the mount.
