Anderson MergePro 780 20' Hay Merger, Without Brakes
Overview
This Anderson MergePro 780 hay merger is the configuration without brakes. Two camless pickups lift the crop onto belt conveyors for side or center delivery, with working width and windrow width changing according to the delivery arrangement.
Adaptive True Ground Speed control matches pickup and belt operation to travel speed. The merger uses a two-point hitch and folds for transport. Photos may show other equipment in the MergePro family; the specifications below describe the listed no-brake package.
Specifications
Anderson lists 100 HP for 8 mph on flat ground, 140 HP for 18 mph on flat ground and 180 HP for demanding terrain at that higher speed. The tractor needs two hydraulic remotes, or a third for certain options. Review tractor suitability and transport requirements with the no-brake configuration in mind, and keep field speed appropriate for the hay, terrain and next harvesting machine.
