Art's Way 864 Bale Processor, Handles Round and Square Bales, 160 Cu Ft

The Art's Way 864 TOP-SPREAD mounts on a skid steer or loader and handles either a 5-by-6-foot round bale or a 4-by-4-by-8-foot square bale. It is a useful choice for bedding pens, spreading mulch, placing erosion-control material, and other jobs where a pull-type processor would be harder to position.
The processor tips forward to load much like a bucket. A reversible pintle apron moves the bale toward twin rotors, and the operator can pause or reverse the apron to manage how the material enters the rotors. Processed material discharges to the left through a 24-inch deflector.

Art's Way ties spread distance to hydraulic flow, so the carrier needs to be checked for both lift capacity and auxiliary output. Standard-flow machines use flat-face couplers and a 14-pin electrical connection; a high-flow carrier needs the correct high-flow couplers. Carrier balance, coupler type, and electrical connection should all be confirmed before delivery.
