USED DOUCET BT3-3G

The Doucet BT3-3G is an automated panel return conveyor system designed to work alongside edgebanders and other panel-processing equipment. The BT3 is Doucet’s third-generation belt-transfer return system and is intended to automatically receive finished workpieces, transfer them laterally, and return them to the machine operator for subsequent processing. This arrangement can reduce manual material handling and allow many edgebanding operations to be performed efficiently with a single operator.

The system uses powered receiving rollers combined with a belt-transfer mechanism. As a panel exits the processing machine, the receiving section accepts the workpiece. After the trailing edge is detected, the receiving rollers lower and transfer belts move the panel sideways onto the parallel return conveyor. The return rollers then transport the workpiece back toward the operator.

BT3 systems are built around a modular frame, allowing the conveyor configuration and overall length to be matched to the processing machine. Doucet offers BT3 systems in multiple roller widths, including 24", 30", 36", 48", and 60", depending on panel dimensions and application requirements.
The conveyor incorporates independently controlled operating speeds so the receiving section can be matched to the production equipment while the transfer and return sections move panels efficiently back to the operator. Doucet specifies an adjustable receiving speed of 30–90 ft/min, a fixed belt-transfer speed of 180 ft/min, and an adjustable return conveyor speed of 60–180 ft/min on current BT3 configurations.

Depending on configuration, BT3 systems can also incorporate options such as a PT-90 panel-turning system, panel deviator for narrow parts, air table, small-part support system, heavy-duty construction, and speed synchronization with the edgebander. el.
