The Eckold GL2 Handheld Planishing Hammer is the perfect tool for achieving a smooth finish on preformed sheet metal parts. The GL2 can quickly and efficiently planish fine laser weld seams. It can be used in car body restoration, body repairs or where metal has to be formed into a particular shape. The compact unit is perfect for getting into tight spaces for finish work that may not be possible with a yolk style planishing hammer. The GL2 Planishing Hammer comes with inserts for planishing, stretching and curving. Plastic inserts are available for working without marking any surfaces, as well as inserts with a swiveling shaft for better reaching edges and corners. The GL2 comes in 3 different kit options, all with a different number of die options.
