Eckold KF 800 Kraftformer
The Eckold KF 800 Kraftformer Shrinker/ Stretcher has an unmatched throat depth of 31.5″ (800 mm), allowing for new possibilities and even greater flexibility when shaping large sheet metal parts at a very economical price. The KF 800 can easily handle materials up to 14 gauge (.078″ / 2 mm) mild steel. The KF 800 is air driven and released by a foot pedal, either in single or continuous stroke mode. The single stroke function combined with the big reach is especially useful for correction jobs. Depending on the need of forming force, the machine has two stroke settings. A digital display shows the ram position with a 0.1 mm precision which results in a high repeatability of the forming force.
The machine is adjustable in height, allowing the operator an ergonomic working position. As with all of the other Kraftformer models, the vast number of tooling available makes the KF 800 the perfect machine for professional metal shapers. Tooling options are available for shrinking, stretching, doming, planishing, flattening, straightening and more. The forming tools have a quick-change design which helps eliminates down time.
