Description
Available for sale is a used Cumberland Model 1456i granulator equipped with a 75 HP drive motor and a large 14" x 56" feed throat for industrial plastics recycling and size-reduction applications.
The cutting chamber features a three-knife twin shear rotor with two bed knives, providing an efficient cutting action for reducing suitable production scrap and recyclable materials. The rotor is belt driven by a 75 HP, 3-phase, 60 Hz, 460-volt motor.
Material feeding is handled by 68" wide powered infeed pull rolls driven by a 5 HP DC motor. The upper and lower feed rolls are poly covered and pneumatically actuated, providing controlled feeding into the granulator.
This machine is supplied with the pull-roll hopper only. Controls are not included, allowing the buyer to integrate the granulator into an existing processing line or install a control package appropriate for the intended application.
