The stilling well is designed to provide a protected, relatively stable liquid column for an A1000i submersible level transmitter. It helps shield the sensing element from turbulence, aeration, splashing, solids movement and interference from surrounding tank equipment, allowing more consistent liquid-level measurement.

The project installation drawings show the stilling well mounted vertically to the concrete tank wall using support brackets. The pipe length is field-adjusted so the A1000i sensing element is positioned approximately 6 inches above the tank floor.

Each complete stilling-well kit appears to consist of one long pipe assembly and one corresponding component or mounting-hardware box. The shipping boxes should be matched using part number 11268-05765 and project inventory number W2T409515.
