The Mag-Mate Creative Lift CL0400 is a permanent ceramic lifting magnet designed for single-operator material handling of flat steel plates, die castings, and forgings without the need for slings, clamping devices, or chains. It features a maximum rated flat capacity of 400 lbs, requiring a minimum material thickness of 3/16 inches for activation and achieving its maximum rated capacity on material thicknesses of 3 inches or greater. Operating with a 3:1 safety design factor, the unit incorporates a patented non-marring roller cam release mechanism alongside a low-torque, spring-return manual handle to safely disengage loads without surface gouging. It also includes a secondary jack screw release, a tall lift lug for crane hooks, and an embedded RFID chip for inventory management. Encased in a durable stainless steel housing, the magnet is heat-resistant up to 300°F (148°C) and conforms to ASME B30.20 BTH-1 design category B, service class 3 standards. Physically, the unit features overall dimensions of 7-3/4 inches in length, 7-1/4 inches in width, and 6-3/4 inches in height, with the internal ceramic magnet measuring 4 inches long by 6-1/2 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches high. The handle spans 16 inches, and the bail opening measures 2-7/8 inches high by 3 inches wide. The total weight of the lifting assembly is approximately 21 lbs.
