USED 1980 AMADA CS-220

The Amada CS-220 is a hydraulic corner notching machine designed for precise metalworking fabrication tasks. It features a rated capacity of 10 tons (23 tons maximum under alternative testing) and can handle a maximum cutting thickness of 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) or 10-gauge mild steel. The machine delivers a maximum notch size of 8-5/8 inches by 8-5/8 inches (220 mm x 220 mm) with a ram stroke length of 7/8 inch. Operating at a speed of 36 strokes per minute (SPM), it delivers consistent performance for single or continuous cycle configurations, which can be managed via an adjustable timer offering a 0 to 10-second delay.

Power is delivered by a 3 HP or 5 HP hydraulic pump motor, depending on configuration, commonly wired for three-phase electrical systems such as 230V/460V or 415V at 60 Hz. The integrated hydraulic system features an oil tank capacity of 16 gallons with a pump output of 5.8 gallons per minute operating at a pressure of 1,000 PSI. Standard equipment includes a remote electric foot pedal for ram actuation, twin work guides indicated by a vernier scale with a thumbwheel for fine adjustment, a positive setting pin facilitating rapid setups at 45°, 90°, and 135°, a scrap chute, and a manually operated one-shot lubrication system. The unit has physical dimensions of approximately 44" to 47" long, 34" to 36" wide, and 48" to 59" high, carrying an approximate net weight of 2,000 pounds.
