Overview
Used Flottweg model Z6E-3/451 horizontal decanter centrifuge, manufactured in 2008. Approximately 24.4 inch (620 mm) bowl diameter with 3:1 length-to-diameter ratio. Maximum bowl speed 2,400 rpm. Maximum allowable sediment density 3.0 kg/dm³, approximately 187 lb/ft³. Product temperature range 32°F to 212°F (0°C to 100°C).
All product-contact parts constructed of EN 1.4463 duplex stainless steel. Conveyor equipped with tungsten carbide hard surfacing for wear protection. Fitted with Flottweg model 2.27 gearbox. Driven by a 250 HP (186 kW), 460-volt, 3-phase, 60 Hz main motor and a 100 HP (75 kW), 460-volt, 3-phase, 60 Hz backdrive motor.
Manufactured by Flottweg AG in Germany and CE marked. General arrangement drawings and Flottweg Z6E maintenance documentation available.
