Cutting capacity is limited by the allowable number of knives on the machine.*
The GSL48-16 is a lightweight yet a rugged multi-cutting piece of equipment. It is complete a built-in “quick adjust” entry guide, heavy gauge steel table, stripper rings, “reversible” slitter knives, and intergraded scale for ease of use.
The stripper rings are beneficial for light gauge painted material to prevent marking. The gauge mounting is on each side of the machine, allowing operation from the left or right-hand side. The legs are integrated into the end frames of the machine to keep it stable.
The GSL-48-16 can cut a wide range of material thicknesses up to 16 gauge mild steel, and runs at 60 FPM speed.
GSL-48-16 slitter comes standard with a heavy-duty roller chain drive powered by ¾ HP Gearmotor requiring 110/220V single phase power. The shafts are 3’’ in diameter, cold-roll turned, ground and polished mounted in dual ball bearings. The bearings are lubricated for a lifetime.
Two sets of 3’’ x 5’’ x ¾’’ wide high-carbon tooling are also included.
