USED 2019 FEECO 90" X 35'

FEECO 7'6" ID × 35' Direct-Fired Rotary Kiln System:

FEECO International direct-fired rotary kiln originally designed for the thermal treatment of recycled battery-derived material for cobalt and nickel recovery. The kiln was initially engineered to operate at temperatures up to approximately 2,300°F, subject to the type and condition of the installed refractory.

The system features a refractory-lined carbon-steel rotary drum measuring approximately 7'6" inside diameter × 35' long. The drum operates at approximately 2.88 RPM with a slope of 0.25" per foot. Approximate overall assembled dimensions are 46' long × 12'5" wide × 14'2" high.

The kiln is driven by a 20 HP, 460-volt, three-phase motor with variable-frequency drive and Sumitomo gear reducer. The system includes the burner and associated controls, jackshaft-mounted drive assembly, girth sprocket, trunnion support bases, thrust rollers, inlet and discharge breechings, inlet chute, air lance, sight glass, hinged discharge access door, and safety guards.

The kiln features a substantial high-temperature refractory package, including 9" corundum brick with a 3" backer, Rescobond 3000G refractory dams, and refractory-lined inlet and discharge sections. The inlet chute and air lance are constructed of heat-resistant RA330 alloy.

No downstream gas-handling or emissions-control equipment is included.
