VP-16 screw press, The screen is a .010" slot wedgewire.
The shaft of the screw is tapered for a 35% reduction in cross-sectional area.
This is done to increase dewatering capability. with Tech Top
30 HP motor.
VP Series Screw Presses operate the same as the CP series but are larger, high torque machines, with relatively long screens. They are commonly used in pulp & paper, corn wet milling, and spent coffee applications, where the press cake requires maximum dewatering. They feature foot mounted gearboxes; screw diameters start at 16″. The VP-16 is the most popular model.
