The 2020 ABB IRB 1200-5/0.9 is a compact six-axis articulated robot designed for high-speed precision in material handling, machine tending, meat processing, packaging, palletizing, and pick and place applications. It features a 5 kg payload capacity, a 901 mm reach, and a repeatability of 0.06 mm. The robot has a mass of 54 kg and supports floor, inverted, and angle mounting configurations. Axis motion speeds are 288°/s for J1, 240°/s for J2, 405°/s for J5, and 600°/s for J6. The motion range for the axes is J1 ±170°, J2 +130° to -100°, J3 +70° to -200°, J4 ±270°, J5 ±130°, and J6 ±360°. The system is equipped with an IP40 standard rating, four air ducts, 10 customer signals, and Ethernet capabilities for integration. The unit includes an ABB IRC5 controller, a teach pendant, and robot connection cables.
