Description
This used Paul O. Abbe Model 108 RCVD Rota-Cone Vacuum Dryer features a 240 cubic feet working capacity and 365 cubic feet total capacity. The vessel is constructed of 304 stainless steel with a #4 polished interior. It includes a carbon steel jacket rated to 40 psi at 500°F, suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature vacuum drying applications. Internal ratings are 30 psi at 500°F, full vacuum capable. It includes a 20" diameter top port and 12" bottom outlet, and is driven by a 10 HP gear motor with brake, operating at a 82.6:1 ratio and delivering approx. 4 RPM.
Mounted on carbon steel stands, this unit comes complete with a control panel, Wintek vacuum pump skid, Mokon chiller, and Mokon hot water circulating unit.
A 2016 refurbishment included critical upgrades: new vacuum and spray lines, oil feed box, bearings, gear system, gearmotor, gear guard, and polished product contact surfaces to 180 grit.
Ideal for precise, uniform drying under vacuum conditions in regulated manufacturing environments.
