USED STRIATECH GMBH OPTODRUM OPTOMOTOR REFLEX ANALYZER WITH

The Striatech OptoDrum is an automated optomotor reflex (OMR) analyzer designed to objectively assess visual function in mice and rats. The system measures innate head-tracking responses to rotating visual stimuli, allowing researchers to determine visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, and disease progression without surgery, restraint, or animal training. Automated image analysis and behavioral scoring eliminate user bias while providing fast, reproducible results.

This configuration includes DarkAdapt boxes, which provide a completely light-tight, ventilated environment for dark-adapting animals prior to scotopic (low-light) vision experiments. The DarkAdapt accessory is commonly used with the OptoDrum and ScotopicKit for rod-mediated vision studies.
