Why the "II" matters:
If you're comparing this to an older DBC-110 (non-II), the upgrades here are real, not cosmetic. The FANUC 31i-A control replaces the 18i/21i found on earlier units, and you get AICC II with 200-block look-ahead, 200 tool offsets, and 48 pairs of work coordinates — a big deal if you're running long, complex programs across multiple parts. The spindle interface also got an upgrade: BIG-PLUS CAT 50 instead of standard CAT 50, which means dual-contact face-and-taper engagement for stiffer cuts and longer tool life.
