The GE Healthcare AxiChrom™ Chromatography Columns are high-performance axial compression process chromatography columns engineered for process development, pilot production, and commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The AxiChrom platform features Intelligent Packing technology and a hydraulically driven axial adapter, providing fast, reproducible column packing while maintaining consistent bed performance and high purification efficiency.

The platform supports a wide range of chromatography media—including Protein A, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction (HIC), mixed-mode, and size exclusion resins—and is widely used for purification of monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, vaccines, plasma products, and other biologics. The AxiChrom family is available in diameters from 50 mm to 1600 mm, with configurable bed heights and pressure ratings depending on the model.
