POREBA Machine Tools Ltd. is the inheritor of the technical and marketing achievements of the FUM POREBA Ltd. It was established in 2016 after an acquisition by RAFAMET S.A. of the trademark PORĘBA 1798, the entire design and technological documentation produced in FUM PORĘBA until 2015, all of FUM PORĘBA products under their current and historical names, all the casting patterns and all of the machine tool types manufactured by FUM PORĘBA, as well as full copyrights to the design documentation, marketing and trading documents of FUM PORĘBA.

PORĘBA Machine Tools Ltd. is a manufacturer of CNC super heavy duty, heavy-duty and medium centre and floor-type lathes, as well as large horizontal drilling machines and drilling & boring machines for deep hole drilling. The PORĘBA machine tools are used for roughing and finishing of workpieces of up to 100 tonnes in weight and up to 4500 mm in diameter, made of grey iron, ductile iron, steel, custom steel and steel alloys. The machine tools are applicable in the metallurgical, mechanical, defense, power, mining, paper and shipbuilding industries.

Machine tools are manufactured (machining and assembly) in the RAFAMET assembly shops and partially in the former manufacturing halls of FUM PORĘBA leased by business partners and cooperators. Exceptionally rigid casting bodies of the PORĘBA machine tools are manufactured mainly in RAFAMET Foundry (the basic body castings of these machine tools have been manufactured there for the past 12 years). The development of assortment based on the FUM PORĘBA designs has been acquired by the RAFAMET S.A. design offices (cooperating with offices in Poręba and Zawiercie). Servicing and installation of the machine tools at the Client's site are performed by highly qualified professionals from both RAFAMET S.A. and FUM PORĘBA.
