The Labconco FreeZone® 4.5 Liter Lyophilizer is a compact benchtop freeze dryer designed for lyophilizing light to moderate sample loads in research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic laboratories. Featuring a 4.5-liter ice-holding capacity, the system is available with collector temperatures of -50°C, -84°C, or -105°C, allowing users to process a broad range of aqueous and organic solvent-containing samples.

The system incorporates Lyo-Works™ OS with a 5-inch full-color touchscreen, providing real-time monitoring of collector temperature and vacuum level, programmable operation, data logging, Ethernet and USB connectivity, and optional End-Zone™ endpoint detection. The FreeZone 4.5L can be configured for flask drying, bulk drying, or stoppering tray drying using optional accessories.
