Overview
The 2nd generation NHP 5500 has been completely redesigned from the ground up to provide incredible levels of performance and accuracy. Standard features that enhance precision include ball screw shaft and nut cooling, spindle thermal control and a stable 3-point leveling system. Productivity boosting features include Y\Z acc\dec rates in excess of 1G, 2,362 ipm rapids on the XYZ axes and a short tool-to-tool change time of 1.7 seconds.
