The Millrock Technology STELLAR® Laboratory Freeze Dryer is a versatile laboratory-scale tray lyophilizer designed for research, process development, diagnostic kit production, and small-scale manufacturing. It incorporates many of the advanced features found in larger production freeze dryers, including the Opti-Dry® Gen2 PC/PLC control system, automated recipe management, predictive maintenance, and remote connectivity. The STELLAR system supports applications ranging from proof-of-concept studies to pilot production while maintaining excellent process control and scalability.

The system offers 3.75 to 6.25 ft² (0.348–0.581 m²) of shelf area with 3 to 5 shelves, an internal exposed-coil condenser capable of condensing 12 L of ice in 24 hours, and condenser temperature options of -53°C or -85°C. Available options include pneumatic or hydraulic stoppering, capacitance manometer, manifold, LN₂ cooling, cleanroom configuration, and 21 CFR Part 11-compliant software.
