DRIVE INCLUDES

- Maintenance free Full Cardan Shaft Drive to feedworks for balanced drive performance, with
individual worm reduction gear box to each feed roll station
- Powered rise and fall to extra heavy feed support beam by 1 hp/.75 kw motor.
- Upper support Beam is supported at both the Infeed and Outfeed ends on 2 large columns for
best, most rigid upper beam support.
- All feed rolls & pressures move w/top beam rise & fall, incl. safety switches at extreme points.
- 9 Top Driven Feed Roll Shafts (each equipped with Multiple 2? wide rolls that can be quickly
spaced/positioned or removed as desired)
- 3 Full Width Driven Bottom Bed Rolls
- 2 Piece Full width Bottom Driven Infeed Roll
- All Top Rolls are Pneumatically Tensioned. There are 3 different pressurized groups to Top Rolls. Infeed,
Midfeed & Outfeed. Each group has pressure gauge & regulator for varying pressure setting. This helps
feeding of different materials with different conditions, smoothly and efficiently.
- Top infeed rolls before first bottom head with pneumatic rise and fall by switch
- Centrally located Pneumatic Pressure Gauges & Controls for Top Rolls, Chip Breakers and Roll
holdover Assembly opposite rear side head on Exterior Column
- All Infeed Top Rolls are Hardened, Serrated and Chromed to resist wear.
- Top feed rolls after top head are Polyurethane
- Intermediate Top Driven Feed Roll Station in front of rear side head with pneumatic loading for feeding
minimum length work-pieces. It is easily flipped up for rear side head removal.
- Top/Bottom Powered Outfeed Rolls, with bottom full width and plain
- Inch forward and reverse to feed with duplicate control at top head position for fast easy setting

- 5 HP Variable Speed Drive with VFD 20 ? 100 fpm and Electronic Digital Speed Readout

- Sectional Chip Breakers before Top Heads easily adjustable with vertical screw adjustment and
digital position readouts & Top Head Chip Breaker Plates are Hard Chromed easily & quickly
adjustable
- Quick adjust Chromed Pad pressure (Pressure Plates) after top heads with vertical screw
adjustment and mechanical digital position readout
- Outfeed bed plate is easily shimmed to compensate for bottom head cut

position control and true digital position readout
- 6 Dual Axis Electronic Digital Readouts for each Spindle with Dual Column Readouts (1 for
each axis) along the front of the machine.

o SV (Actual Set Value) & Head Number
o Radial readouts includes PV (Present Value-Desired Head Set Position);

- Quick Open-Reset Feature to Near Side Head(s) & Top Head(s) and Top Feed Beam(eg. if
there is a material breakup in the machine then operator hits the open button and the machine auto
opens ? they clear the breakup and hits the reset button and then is able to run immediately
- The Touch Screen has a wealth of history information, operating elements, parts lists in
order to assist the operator, including: Pattern Information, - Cutterhead Knife details ? up to
10,000 patterns, Moulder Setup Details, Moulder Information, History File, Production Schedule,
Essential Spares Lists, Motor HP?s; Belt info; Gearbox info & Parts info pages.
- Alarm System which monitors ? motors, limit switches & head position locking
- The person responsible for moulder setup can preload the information(inch or mm) into the
touch screen control re upcoming mouldings to be run prior to machine setup normally during the
running of other patterns in order to minimize downtime & maximize changeover efficiency.
- The Setup person when ready to change patterns pulls up the new pattern and the heads with
Setworks set and the axis without Setworks has all the set size info downloaded to the Digital
Readouts along the front of the machine. The axis that need to be reset will flash with the desired
position until that position is set to. This all contributes to super fast head changing efficiency
- Also Includes Auto Cooling System/Heat Exchanger in the electrical panel
to dissipate any heat buildup in the main panel & Setworks drives
- PLC Ethernet Hub, hookup to LMC-USA &/or LMC factory if required as well as Software for
Remote Troubleshooting for SmartSet Control PLC & System
