USED LOOPCO 54-40 SL

The Loopco 54” x 0.187” x 40,000 lb. slitting line is a robust machinery solution ideal for processing metal coils. This used line comes equipped with a 54” maximum width and a 0.187” max thickness capacity, providing flexible slitting options for various applications. It can handle coils weighing up to 40,000 lbs., making it well-suited for demanding industrial tasks. Key components include an entry coil car, mandrel uncoiler, entry section with hydraulic features, and dual slitter heads with one needing a rebuild.
The line also includes a Nova entry crop shear from 2010, Sweed scrap choppers with dual heads, and a looping pit table for efficient scrap handling. It offers various hydraulic enhancements such as a hydraulic peeler table, ejector, and recoiler with a 58" wide mandrel, supported by a 100 HP DC motor. The recoiler comes with a 20” coil ID and integrated hydraulic systems for gripping, expansion, and push-off functions.
Designed with operational efficiency in mind, the slitting line includes an exit turnstile with four C-hook arms for powered rotation, ensuring smooth coil management. The addition of a free-standing overarm separator and dual drag tension pads contribute to its operational precision. Although one slitter head requires rebuilding, this Loopco line remains a valuable asset for high-capacity slitting tasks.
