Capsule Fillers
IMA40F1999

Used IMA Zanasi 40F Encapsulator w/vacuum & tooling set (size TBD)
Upgraded to Zeroid

The 1999 IMA Zanasi 40F is an automated, intermittent-motion capsule filler that operates using a 6-bore capsule indexing turret (processing 6 capsules per cycle to achieve its maximum output).
Because this specific package includes alongside the standard vacuum separation system and tooling set(Size TBD)

The Zanasi 40F utilizes a dosator system (a hollow tube with an internal miniature piston) to compress a precise "slug" of powder from the product bowl and transfer it into the capsule body.
Size Changeover Note: Changing the machine over between these sizes requires swapping out the upper capsule alignment segments, lower body segments, capsule feeding magazine bushes, closing pushers, and the entire 6-station dosator block assembly.
Maximum Production Speed: 40,000 capsules per hour. Speed is mechanically adjustable via an inverter-driven main drive motor to throttle down for difficult or sticky powder formulations.
Kinematic Operation: 8-station mechanical indexer tracking an intermittent rotary cycle (Orientation \rightarrow Separation \rightarrow Dosing \rightarrow Rejection of unseparated shells \rightarrow Capsule Closing \rightarrow Discharge).
Dosing Adjustments: Piston penetration depth and product powder bed height are adjustable via manual analog dial indicators located on the front of the dosing assembly.
Electrical Configuration : 220V–380V / 415V | 3-Phase | 50/60 Hz. Main motor pull is approximately 6.5 kW to 7.5 kW (including standard vacuum pull requirements).
Compressed Air: Minimum line pressure of 6 bar (approx. 87 psi). Air supply must be dry, de-oiled, and filtered to prevent fouling of the pneumatic air-jets used to blow out the segment blocks after capsule discharge. Consumption averages 100–150 L/min.
