USED OKAWARA FBA-20

Used fluid bed dryer by Okawara (Japan) type FBA-20 for continuous work. Contact parts designed in stainless steel (AISI 304). Chamber is insulated and covered with carbon steel. Fluid bed has dimensions: width 700 mm x 3000 mm length. Bottom bed in drying chamber have perforations with diameter 1 mm and distance between every hole about 5 mm.
Machine is equipped with:
- stainless steel contact parts tubular heat exchanger - steam pre-heater. Working presure 6 bar.
- main centrifugal blower fan, output up to 290 m3/min, driven by el. motor 30 kW, 2950 rpm
- initial centrifugal blower fan, output up to 48,5 m3/min, driven by el. motor 1.5 kW, 1420 rpm
- exhaust centrifugal blower fan, output up to 48,5 m3/min, driven by el. motor 7.5 kW, 2950 rpm
- stainless steel cyclone for outgoing air.
Medium steam consumption about 150 kg/h, maximal steam consumption up to 320 kg/h.
Steam on inlet is fed at temperature 130°C and pressure 2 bar.
Drying air on inlet with temperature 80°C.
Machine had been working on product with bulk density 800 g/l. Transfer of product had been made by air flow and angle of bed in chamber.
Machine had been working on plastic pellet with reported output 3 tons/h.
Reported that dryer can reach level of water evaporation 400-500 kg/h.
Dimensions of dryers body: width 1200 mm x length 3500 mm x height 2500 mm.
Weight of all installation – about 2500 kg.
