Unused Bethlehem Company "Porcupine" processor vacuum dryer, model 1P1810JTB. 316L stainless steel 18" diameter X 10' long single agitator shaft, cored and rated 50 psi @ 260°F. 304 stainless steel trough, rated full vacuum @ 260°F. Carbon steel jacket on external of trough, rated 50 psi @ 260°F. Total heat transfer area: 117.6 SQFT. Center bottom discharge outlet. 15 HP drive motor. DCE Dalamatic insertable filter housing mounted on top. Johnson rotary joint.
Unit equipped w/packing glands. Jacket has (3) 2" pipes and (2) 1" pipe FITT. Shell has (2) 1" FLG, (5) 2" FLG & (1) 4" FLG FITT. 11" S/S manually operated butterfly valve and 6" stainless steel manually operated ball discharge valve.
Unit has rotary joint on cord shaft, mounted on steel frame 9" high with 36-tooth sprocket. Drive sprocket is 12-tooth on 31.42 to 1 ratio reducer. Service factor 1.72. Coupled to 15 HP 3 phase, 60 cycle, 230/460V, 1760 rpm XP motor.
