Description

Complete Air Liquide hydrogen fueling station equipment package designed for light-duty vehicle refueling service at nominal pressures up to 700 bar, with 350 bar capability where applicable. The system is configured as a skid-mounted hydrogen refueling station with classified and non-classified equipment areas, hydrogen compression, high-pressure buffer storage, ground storage, cooling, heat exchange, dispensing support equipment, process manifolds, controls, and safety systems.

The station includes classified hydrogen process skids containing compression equipment, high-pressure buffer storage, and process equipment. Each classified skid is designed to receive hydrogen from buffer storage, compress it to high pressure, and supply the high-pressure buffers used for vehicle fueling. The classified skid package includes HOFER medium- and high-pressure hydrogen compressors and FABER high-pressure storage cylinders.

The non-classified skid contains the main electrical cabinets and hydraulic power equipment used to operate the compressor system. The hydraulic aggregate is supplied by HYDAC and supports the compressor operation in the classified skid.

The broader station package includes G2 cooling water units and chillers supplied by NOVA FRIGO, hydrogen heat exchangers supplied by RAVANAT, FIBA hydrogen ground storage, interconnection manifolds, hydrogen delivery manifolds, nitrogen manifolds, local delivery cabinet equipment, dispenser equipment, and related valve panels. The system also includes assorted hydrogen process components, vacuum-jacketed components, cable trays, and auxiliary equipment.

Safety features include hydrogen detectors, flame detectors, emergency shut-off buttons, process safety limits and parameters, classified electrical-area design considerations, and compliance-oriented design features for hydrogen vehicle fueling station service. The system is intended for installation as a complete hydrogen fueling station package with remote dispenser equipment, cooling and heat exchange equipment located near the dispenser, and supporting hydrogen, nitrogen, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
