The BEMATO SGF1800.120.8 is a heavy-duty CNC giant lathe engineered for machining large-diameter, long-length components that demand exceptional rigidity, stability, and cutting power. Featuring BEMATO's Multi-Guideway Series design, the machine incorporates a wide bed construction with multiple guideways to maximize load capacity, minimize deflection, and deliver reliable accuracy during heavy-duty turning operations. It is ideally suited for industries such as energy, oil & gas, mining, steel processing, shipbuilding, heavy equipment manufacturing, and large industrial component production.

Built around a massive 1,800 mm swing over bed and 12,000 mm distance between centers, the SGF1800.120.8 provides the capacity required for machining oversized shafts, rollers, cylinders, and other large workpieces. The machine utilizes a half-length carriage design with an 800 mm X-axis travel, allowing unobstructed use of steady rests and improving efficiency when machining large outside diameters without repositioning support equipment.

A powerful 51 kW spindle motor combined with a large Ø210 mm spindle bore and A2-15 spindle nose delivers the torque necessary for demanding roughing and finishing applications. The four-step spindle speed range of 5–400 rpm provides the flexibility required to machine a wide variety of materials and workpiece sizes efficiently.

The machine's robust mechanical structure is complemented by a precision rack and pinion Z-axis drive, ball screw-driven X-axis, heavy-duty tailstock assembly, and advanced CNC control system.
