The BEMATO SGF1800.50.8 is a high-capacity CNC giant heavy-duty lathe designed for manufacturers requiring exceptional rigidity, precision, and turning performance for large-diameter workpieces. Built on BEMATO's proven Multi-Guideway Series platform, the machine features a massive flat-bed construction with multiple guideways that provide outstanding stability and load-bearing capability during heavy-duty machining operations. It is ideally suited for industries such as oil & gas, energy, steel mills, mining equipment, shipbuilding, paper mills, and general heavy industrial manufacturing.

With a substantial 1,800 mm swing over bed, 5,000 mm distance between centers, and a heavy-duty machine structure, the SGF1800.50.8 is capable of machining large shafts, rollers, cylinders, pressure vessel components, and other oversized workpieces with confidence. The machine utilizes a half-length carriage design, allowing unrestricted use of steady rests and improving accessibility when machining large outside diameters while maintaining maximum support throughout the turning process.

Powered by a robust 51 kW spindle motor, the machine delivers the torque required for aggressive roughing and precision finishing applications. A large Ø210 mm spindle bore with A2-15 spindle nose accommodates substantial bar work and large-diameter components, while the four-step spindle gearbox provides a versatile speed range of 5–400 rpm to handle a wide variety of materials and machining requirements.

The machine's precision drive system incorporates a heavy-duty Ø50 mm ball screw X-axis transmission with 1:2 gear reduction and a large Ø80 mm ball screw Z-axis transmission, ensuring smooth axis movement, accurate positioning, and long-term reliability.
