MASTERDRAW® B968LS
APPEARANCE AND DESCRIPTION
MASTERDRAW® B968LS is a light viscosity, light yellow to brown lubricating fluid. The product is a blend of synthetic fatty additives. It does not contain sulfur, chlorine, phosphorus or any other hazardous ingredients.
USE AND APPLICATION
The high film strength and lubricity provided by the MASTERDRAW® B968LS requires a unique approach to its use and application. The product must be applied in small amounts by a metered spray-mist system, MQL, to the tool just prior to the tool contacting the workpiece. The MASTERDRAW® B968LS is consumed during the cut and this eliminates the maintenance and subsequent disposal of coolants normally used in the place of the MASTERDRAW® B968LS.
The MASTERDRAW® B968LS was developed and specifically used for sawing of copper, copper alloy and aluminium tube, rod, wire and bar. It can also be used for general sawing applications as well as mild forming jobs. Applied properly and used sparingly, there will be minimal to no residue left on the finished part. Any residue will bright anneal given a bright annealing atmosphere.
