Tromp Egg Wash Applicator
An Egg Wash Applicator is used in commercial and industrial bakeries to apply a perfectly uniform layer of liquid coating onto unbaked or freshly baked dough products before they go into the oven or packaging line.
Specs:
Voltage: 3-phase, 230 Volts AC
Grounding: Protective Earth included (+ PE)
Apparent Power: 1.5 kVA
How This Specific Model Works:
The Cart: Liquid egg wash is placed into the mobile reservoir tank
The Delivery: The positive displacement pump transfers the liquid up through the blue hoses
The Application: Inside the overhead cabinet, the liquid drops onto high-speed rotating metal discs. Centrifugal force flings the egg wash outward, creating a perfectly micro-atomized, uniform mist that sheets over the pastries as they move down the wire conveyor
The Recycle System: Any excess egg wash falls straight through the open-mesh wire belt, collects in the V-shaped bottom pans, and drains back to the cart to be filtered and reused
Primary Uses For Bakery Products:
Egg Wash (Egg Yolk/White Mixture): It coats brioche, buns, croissants, pies, and puff pastries [10] to give them a glossy, golden-brown finish and a crispy crust after baking
Oil Or Butter Glazes: It applies thin layers of vegetable oil or melted butter to pans, baking trays, or the dough itself to prevent sticking and add rich flavor
Water Misting: It sprays water onto French bread or baguettes right before baking to help create a thin, ultra-crunchy artisanal crust
Sugar Syrups And Apricot Glazes: It applies sweet coatings to Danishes, fruit tarts, and donuts immediately after baking to seal in moisture and give them a shiny appearance
Liquid Seed Adhesive: It provides a light, tacky coating to buns and rolls so that sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or oats stick firmly to the top without falling off during packaging
