Rotary Table (B-Axis): Usually equipped with a massive integrated round
A rotary table (often 78.5 inches in diameter) for rotating heavy
workpieces to any angle.
Ram Cross Section: 13” x 13”
Taper in Spindle: ISO 50
Main Spindle Power: 50 HP (37 kW}
Spindle Speed Range: 5 to 3,000 RPM
B-Axis (Table Rotation):360 continuous indexing
The B-axis is indeed a fully programmable, continuous
360,000-position rotary table (offering 0.001 resolution).
Simultaneous Multi-Axis Milling: It doesn't just rotate to a face and lock down.
The table can smoothly spin while the X, Y, and universal head axes are moving.
This allows for cutting complex, large-diameter helices, continuous
circular profiles, or sprawling curved geometries on a 15-ton part.
Precision Angular Alignment: If an aerospace casting or wind turbine component
is clamped down slightly out of square, the 0.001 degree indexing lets the operator
(or a probing cycle), rotate the table to perfectly align the part coordinate
system without physically rebuilding the fixture setup.
