USED 2021 FEECO INTERNATIONAL INDIRECT ROTARY CALCINER SYSTEM
Overview
Description
FEECO International indirect fired rotary calciner system with 4.5' Dia. x 50' L, engineered for continuous high-temperature processing and calcination in controlled atmosphere applications where product purity and precise heat control are critical. Constructed of 304L stainless steel with refractory-lined interior and mounted on a heavy-duty structural skid with trunnion supports, girth gear, and pinion drive assembly, the unit is driven by a Marathon Black Max inverter-duty motor with gear reducer for accurate rotational and residence time control. System features a fully integrated multi-zone natural gas combustion package by Process Combustion Systems, incorporating (11) high-velocity burners across three independently controlled zones, each with dedicated gas trains, regulators, and safety shutoff valves for staged heat profiles and uniform processing. Controls include Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC, PanelView HMI, and Fireye burner management system providing automated startup, multi-zone PID temperature control, and full safety interlocks.
Indirect fired design isolates material from combustion gases, making the system well suited for high-value and contamination-sensitive applications, and suitable for use as a calciner, thermal processor, or rotary reactor for applications including battery materials, activated carbon, catalysts, specialty chemicals, electronic waste recovery, metal oxides, and advanced material processing, with approximate throughput of 2.36 TPH.
