Description
Used Bühler BTSK 30/40D twin screw extruder equipped with (2) 50 mm diameter side-by-side screws and a 53:1 L/D ratio. Unit features 11 electrically heated and water-cooled barrel sections for precise thermal processing and material control. Driven by a 21 kW (31.5 HP), 440 volt AC drive motor through a gearbox, with maximum screw speed up to 800 RPM.
The extruder is frame mounted and includes its control panel. Previously utilized in a Teijin Aramid application, making it suitable for specialty polymer compounding and engineered material processing applications.
