Description
Used Stokes model 551-1 51 station rotary tablet press, a double rotary high-speed tablet compression machine designed for high-output tablet production. Unit features a 4 ton compression force, 7/16" maximum tablet diameter, and 11/16" maximum depth of fill. Production capacity is rated from approximately 1,250 to 3,750 tablets per minute. Driven by a 3 HP, 1800 RPM motor and requires 220/440 VAC, 3 phase electrical supply. Includes original control panel. This machine was reportedly reconditioned in 2015 and subsequently used in a product development laboratory environment.
