(1) Available - Built March 2020 - CPE BB60H-37D heat exchanger is a gasketed plate and frame heat exchanger manufactured by CPE Systems Inc.. It is primarily designed as a high-efficiency wort chiller for use in breweries or as a means to heat a product utilizing steam as the heat method.

Type: Gasketed plate and frame heat exchanger.
Application: Used in brewing to cool hot wort from approximately 200°F down to about 70°F using city water, typically in about 30 minutes. The design allows the discharged hot water to be collected and reused in the hot liquor tank (HLT) for the next brew.
Plates: It features 37 plates (as indicated by the "37D" in the model number). The plates are made of 0.5mm 316 stainless steel.
Gaskets: EPDM clip-on gaskets are used, which are suitable for applications requiring regular cleaning and maintenance.
