The BEMATO SGF2250.50.8 CNC Giant Heavy Duty Lathe is a high-performance large-capacity turning solution engineered for heavy-duty machining applications in industries such as oil & gas, power generation, shipbuilding, steel mills, mining, aerospace, and large component manufacturing. Designed with an extra-rigid one-piece cast bed construction and a massive 1345 mm bed width, this CNC lathe delivers exceptional stability, vibration dampening, and cutting accuracy when machining oversized and heavy workpieces. With a swing over bed of 2250 mm and 5000 mm distance between centers, the SGF2250.50.8 is capable of handling extremely large diameter shafts, rollers, flanges, and cylindrical components with confidence and precision.

Equipped with a powerful 51 kW spindle motor and a heavy-duty spindle system featuring a Ø210 mm spindle bore and A2-15 spindle nose, the machine is built to perform demanding roughing and finishing operations across a wide range of materials. The 4-step spindle speed range of 5–400 RPM provides excellent torque at low speeds while maintaining flexibility for different machining requirements. Precision ball screw transmission systems on both the X and Z axes, combined with high-torque servo motors and FAGOR 8058 CNC control, ensure smooth axis movement, accurate positioning, and reliable long-term operation in high-production environments.

The SGF2250.50.8 also incorporates productivity-focused features such as a servo 4-way toolpost, automatic lubrication system, coolant system, spindle oil cooler, motorized tailstock with rotary quill, rear splash guard, and chip conveyor to support continuous heavy-duty machining operations.
