The Tenney Jr. temperature benchtop test
chamber offers outstanding performance,
reliability and long life.
It is the most popular environmental
chamber on the market and is especially
adaptable for laboratory use in product
development, quality assurance,
research, electronic and MIL-STD
testing. Simplicity of design allows for
virtually maintenance-free operation.
It is completely self-contained
and ready for immediate plug-in use.
The unit utilizes a dual
compressor cascade mechanical refrigeration system that gives
increased piston displacement, sequential compressor starting and
capacitor-start motors on both stages. The system requires no C02
and is therefore free of the inconvenience and expense of this method.
At the same time, the Tenney Jr. can achieve a temperature that is 6.7°C
colder than that possible with CO2, i.e. -80°C .
