The Leybold D40BCS is a Rotary Vane Pump, direct drive,
oil-sealed vacuum pump designed for continuous operation to
760 Torr. They find use in a wide range of medium and medium-high
vacuum applications characterized by the presence of corrosive or oxidizing gases.
and can also be used as backing pumps for Roots pumps, diffusion
pumps, turbo-molecular pumps and cryo-pumps.
Leybold D40BCS vacuum pumps are rebuilt by JMI and offered with optional Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) controlled motors.
The D40BCS pump will not require service as often with a VFD installed and will use 60% less power in most cases.
VFD controlled pumps will last much longer on plasma etching systems that expose the D40B to caustic gases.
These pumps are available with Krytox, Fomblin (PFPE) for corrosive/explosive gases or Hydrocarbon oil prep for pumping air.
Rebuilt Leybold Rotary Vane Trivac Mechanical Vacuum Pumps include a 1 year warranty on parts and labor.
The warranty is void when failure is due to oil contamination or misuse.
JMI offers the CFS filtration, ARS exhaust filtration with paper or stainless steel filters for the D40BCS.
