Overview
The Makino EDAF3 Sinker Type CNC Electric Discharge Machine is a high‑precision EDM solution designed for demanding mold, die, and toolroom applications. This 2018 model is equipped with the Makino MR head and Hyper i CNC control, providing stable machining performance and intuitive operation. A System 3R automatic chuck interface supports fast, repeatable electrode changes, helping reduce setup time and improve accuracy. The machine also features a full C‑axis for advanced electrode positioning and contouring, along with a 16‑station automatic tool changer to support extended unattended operation. A remote control pendant enhances operator access and setup convenience.
