It is designed to burst at a calibrated pressure range of approximately 101.78 / 92.62 PSIG, with an operating temperature range of 71.6°F to 149°F, ensuring reliable protection within specified process limits.
In operation, the rupture disc acts as a non-reclosing safety device installed in a pressure relief system. When system pressure exceeds the rated burst value, the disc ruptures instantly to release pressure and prevent equipment failure or hazardous overpressure events. Once activated, the disc must be replaced, making it a critical one-time-use safety component.
