Description

Mereen Johnson Model 524-SB/SR Gang Rip Saw
The 524-SB/SR was used to infeed boards and rip them into long sections. Inside it has a shaft for (10) blades, all of which are adjustable. 
The feed table is 33” wide.  
Included: Three overhead feed tables, used to push material into the saws.

Capacity: 24” arbor space, thickness to 2-1/2” using 14” dia. tooling, 30” min. length for glue joint accuracy.
1” min. width net rip between saws.
Arbor DriveDirect drive 75 HP, 3600 RPM TEFC Mereen-Johnson saw arbor motor (no belts to tension or replace).
Feed Drive10 HP with variable frequency speed control, infinitely variable, 30’-235’ per minute.
